Area 2: Physical Needs
echo plans on providing a "shower" for every child that's adopted from our congregation, partnership churches, or members of our community associated with echo; bring meals after child comes home, help with house chores, etc.

Area 3: Financial Assistance
Establish an adoption financial assistance fund through echo (Look on our website for February 2009 fundraiser information)

Area 4: Education, Awareness, and Recruitment
echo envisions hosting an adoption expo that would include displays of area agencies, testimonies by adoptive families, and instruction about the adoption process.

Area 5: Support Ministry
echo plans on the establishment of an adoption support group that encompasses many pre and post adoption needs. These areas could include, but are not limited to the following:

• Encourage those considering adoption
• Guide prospective adoptive families through paperwork
• Pre and post adoptive counseling, etc.

Future Focus Areas of the echo orphan care ministry

• Adopting an orphanage, praying for orphans, and keeping up with prayer requests by maintaining contact
• Clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and Bible donations
• Financial sponsorship for young and older orphans
• Hopes of an "Orphan Sunday" to create awareness and solutions for the crisis
• Long-term orphanage sponsorship (financial support, mission trips, camps and pen-pals)
